The information contained in the FAQs section is provided as a courtesy and is kept as current as possible.
  • What is AAICT?
AAICT is a non profit organization that provides children from low-income families cancer care and treatment to fight the disease.
  • How are the patients selected?
Our experienced caseworkers screen families carefully to identify the ones that can truly benefit from a sponsorship for the treatment.
  • How do I make a donation?
To make a donation to AAICT, click the “Donate Today” button on the home page. Follow the instructions during the Google Checkout process, and when you’ve completed your transaction, we’ll send you an e-mail confirming that your donation was received. It’s that easy.
  • Why do I go through Google Checkout?
To ensure that 100% of your donation gets used as intended, AAICT has tried to reduce most administrative costs. Google Checkout provides their safe, convenient service at a discount to non-profit organizations, so that every last penny you give gets used for the intended cause. Your donations are transferred instantly through Google Checkout’s secure servers without any added administrative costs along the way.
  • Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes. All donations made to AAICT are eligible to receive tax-deductible donations. After you make a donation, Google Checkout automatically provides both an on-screen receipt and an e-mail confirmation for the transaction. These can be printed and saved for your tax records.
  • Does AAICT accept in-kind donations (e.g., clothes, toys)?
Unfortunately, AAICT cannot accept in-kind donations. Please consider other charities in your area that may accept these kinds of donations.
